Goose to go: Arrived at home very stylish and was just as good as in the restaurant. With delicious chestnut sauce and gravy. Highly recommended.

Participated in the event with Harald Wohlfahrt and M. Scharff, was a great experience.

Beautiful. Have spent a weekend there. With guided tours and also an event.

Romantic castle ruins with great views over Heidelberg. Unfortunately not so good and complete we get other castles and fortresses in Germany - we, for example, the Wartburg in Eisenach. But absolutely worth a visit. The huge wine barrel in the basement is impressive.

Main course unfortunately on a cold plate and even at the beginning just lukewarm. Too bad.

Yesterday at an event here. The royal hall was beautiful and well set. The staff was super friendly and the wine was well selected. The food itself was not so good. The salad was still delicious and was good. The main course was only lukewarm, the dumplings were very dry, the roast buttery but not good tasted, the red wine sauce was good. The dessert was the total flop. Between starter and main course was a very long wait. Sure, it's not easy to get food on the table for about 200 people at the same time, so praise the kitchen as well. Nevertheless, the taste expectations were not quite fulfilled. But, if you go to the normal food, think that there is basically a good kitchen there.

Well, if the quail eggs in the soup have been forgotten, bring new ones and throw them in by hand .. does not have to be ..

Seated at a free table with 2 people. At the next table we cleared and handed us exactly one of the several menus that were cleared with us. Got up and gone, we had to prevent further "anti-customer friendliness"; we were really hungry and also thirsty. Both were then removed by a more customer-oriented restoration on site to our complete satisfaction. The summer was long and far too hot, of course, but there are still a few basic rules and courtesies that apply.

Definitely worth the hike and a day trip! .. great view and a good counterpart to the Philosophenweg.

Now in summer you can spend a nice time there and eat delicious tarte flambée in the back house.

What good is the best restaurant if the phone is not operated. For hours, "occupied" or no call acceptance are devaluing features even in the age of electronic media. Supplement: Telephone failure has been resolved (macro virus infected malicious email from a criminal under the sender of the restaurant)

Very quaint little place, but very warm and friendly people. Food was perfect.
